Mountain towns for BLM.

I wrote a simple Instagram post about how I felt like living in a small mountain town made me feel like I was stuck in a fish bowl. This sparked a few local ladies to put together a protest that encouraged over 1,300 people in my area to join in the name of Black Lives Matter. Our population is only 2,200, 13 black people in total.

The best way to showcase the support of my community that evening is to share with you the moving images captured through the eyes of a few different local photographers.

Rural communities wont be silent anymore. We stand in solidarity.
